A mixture of joy and worry washes over me as I'm starting to get my feet back in the water as a DM right before I jump head first into the deep end of overseeing multiple games for editions that I haven't played in a long time (3.5 Edition) and that I haven't actually played at all (5th Edition). On top of this is my desire to run a Hunter: the Reckoning game that my friends have already made up characters for.
What this means is that I need to be at the top of my game and I have to do it in short order. I am going to need every organizational skill I can muster, every ounce of creativity I can wring from my brain, and I'm going to need some just for men to keep my hair from going completely grey as I try to handle all this.
But when I pull all this off, it's going to be awesome!
So what's the purpose of this blog? This blog is going to serve a couple of purposes:
- First, this is going to be a journal of my experiences while running the my various games for D&D.
- Second, and this ties in with the first, I hope to be able to also provide tips and tricks for other DMs who stumble upon my blog.
So those are the two major purposes for this blog, though I may eventually add other stuff to it - Maybe I'll also showcase some of my artwork, maybe if I ever do a "Let's Play" video I'll embed it here, or any other thing I might be able to come up with.
So here's to many fun games in the future!
